Experienced professors teach most of the subjects at Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy. "A few junior lecturers do create trouble occasionally, but we're now used to this stuff" says a more or less satisfied group of third-years.

The campus spreads over vast stretches of land and is perhaps the biggest amongst all colleges in Ibrahimpatnam, if not entire Hyderabad. A wide road leads you from the majestic entrance to a palatial academic block that looks exactly as they've shown on their official website, most of which is unfortunately for engineering students to use. However, students told Stupidsid's team that the insides, although manageable, aren't as good. Classrooms, labs, library, sports facilities are all just good enough to keep things going.

Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy claims to place nearly half the batch every year which is exceptionally good for any pharmacy college in Hyderabad. Companies recruiting include Hetero Pharmacy, Dr. Reddy's and Aurobindo Labs.

Coming from Koti in central Hyderabad, Stupidsid's team took over 50 minutes to get to Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy in Ibrahimpatnam, a distant suburb in the south-east corner of Hyderabad. It was a long and tiring commute but the campus, being a big landmark right on Nagarjuna Sagar Road, wasn't too difficult to reach. Half the students use RTC buses to reach the college, while the other half prefers College Buses.

Two canteens - one on Sri Indu College's end and another on RVR College's end - cater to the hungry, the thirsty and a handful of those who dared to bunk lectures but couldn't manage to go out of the campus because of the closed gate system. Both of them are almost identical but serve slightly different varieties. Food is edible and cheap most of the times, unless you order something exotic!

BN Reddy Nagar is the closest civilization from Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy where you'll find some interesting places to hangout. Or if that's not an option, all you have is some dhabas along the highway.

The video clip of 'Another Brick In The Wall', a popular track by Pink Floyd, precisely depicts the type of crowd and campus life found at Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy, except that we're talking of college students this time.

A couple of festivals during the February-March period provide relief to the students from the hectic daily routine. There are cultural as well as technical events and it's probably the only time of the year when students come to life.

Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy is considerate when you have genuine reasons for missing classes. There has hardly been any case when students were detained because of a lack in attendance. However, everyone is expected to follow certain rules prescribed by the institute or shell out fines if they fail to do so. College timing is 9:40 am to 4:00 pm.
