Admission Process for PDPU Gandhinagar


Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar has 50% its of seats reserved for Gujarat state students which are filled via a centralised process conducted by ACPC. The remaining 50% are all India category seats and they are filled by the institute. Given below is the admission and counselling procedure for institute level seats.

Eligibility:

  1. You should have appeared JEE (Main).
  2. You must also have passed 12th Science Examination (from schools located in India including Gujarat) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 45% marks.

Admission Procedure:

The entire procedure will be carried out in the month of July.

Step 1: Fill in the online application form which is made available on the website www.pdpu.ac.in.

  • You'll have to make online payment of Rs. 1200 /- through internet banking/ debit card/ credit card.
  • You'll also be required to upload the colored scan copy of requisite certificates and testimonials given below:
  1. Latest passport size color photograph
  2. Std. X marksheet
  3. JEE (main) admit card
  4. JEE (main) score card
  5. Caste certificate in English/Hindi (if applicable)
  6. Medical Certificate in English/Hindi – for PH category candidates (if applicable)
  7. School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate
  8. Latest Passport Size Photograph of candidate.

Step 2: Check out the merit list based on JEE Main score made available on the website www.pdpu.ac.in.

Step 3: On Campus counseling:

  • If you are shortlisted in the merit list then you'll be called for on campus counseling process.
  • The choice of courses is to be made at the time of on campus counseling process.
  • Counseling will include verification of the original documents,  personal and academic credentials of candidates’ viz. identity, age, academic qualifications and category.
  • The candidate who has been offered confirmed / provisional admission shall be required to pay fee to secure his / her admission at the time of on campus counseling process.
