Information Technology Engineering - Course Description & Scope

If you are confused whether to opt for computers or I.T., don’t be, because both the streams offer the same curriculum to a great extent. The two courses differ by just about six subjects in all from all the four years!! I.T. concentrates slightly more on the software front and you will not have to learn the insides of the computer.

Description:

Although Information Technology inexplicably gets somewhat stepbrotherly treatment as compared to Computer Engineering (in terms of cutoffs), the course structure of both is quite similar. IT is one of the streams that you can't go wrong with, since it has tremendous relevance in today's world and most jobs out there are IT jobs.

Over the four years, you'll cover various topics, not only related to the aspects of information technology, but also the management and the security of IT. Expect to do a number of projects, all of which would be closely related to your course.
