ALGORHYTHM, the annual techno-cultural festival of CSI-JMI chapter commenced in the year 2001, with an aim of providing students a firsthand experience of handling and managing an event apart from instilling interactive and managerial skills in the students, which is as important as sound technical education in today’s competitive world.

Algorhythm is primarily a technical fest with a nice blend of core technical, fun and cultural events and now it is one of the largest techno-cultural festivals in and around the National Capital Region, seeing massive footfalls over the years.

Computer Society of India established in the year 1965 is today the largest IT professionals Society in India.CSI have been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path since its formative years. SWITCH FREAK (STREET DANCE): An amazing mix of professional finesse, amazing talent and show stopping moves, it is one of the highly awaited event of Algorhythm.

STUNTMANIA: 25 riders put their life on the line, break the laws of gravity and pump up the engine to boost the excitement beyond the levels of imagination.

MANHUNT: Algorhythm brings to you an event jam-packed with oomph an attitude. It is where we observe an amalgamation of culture and tradition together with the threads of fashion!

QAWWALI/MUSHAIRA: Algorhythm invites one and all to witness the holiness and spirituality of the form. A never before kind of an ecstatic experience leading to a trance-like state.

PHOENIX: Music crossing all genres confluence to create an exhilarating atmosphere you will remember for life. Bringing alive the OAT with the sound of mesmerizing music cutting across barriers.

TECHNICAL EVENTS:

HELLO WORLD: On The Spot Algorithm Design and Programming Contest. A mix of analytical, coding skills with Linux / OSS programming.

EUREKA: The Technical Paper Presentation Contest. An ideal platform for putting forth state-of-the-art ideas before experts and corporate conglomerates.

JAVA PRO: On the Spot Java Programming Contest. A tailor-made event for all programmers, it is an on the spot Java Programming competition.

ROBOTICS: The Robot Design Contest. This event challenges the participant's intellect among the techno freaks where each team will create the robot from scratch for various task oriented events such as Robo soccer and Robo Endurance.

OTHER EVENTS:

GLADIATORZ: Network Gaming Contest. This zone is for all the gaemophilics out there. This station you can lay your hands on the latest gaming consoles while you experience the thrill of the games. Need For Speed, World of Warcraft, FIFA 11, COUNTER STRIKE - CONDITION ZERO! The names say it all. So be prepared to fight.

GALI CRICKET: The ‘Sachin’s and ‘Sehwag’s of the faculties…get ready to showcase your batting and bowling prowess in this exciting game of cricket. There goes a six! Here comes a catch!
