Round 1 Allotment for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Admissions to Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra via the Direct Second Year (DSE) for the four year undegraduate engineering program for the academic year 2013-14 is declared. Students can check their DSE Round 1 Allotment.

The cutoffs for Round 1 are not yet displayed on the official DSE Website. Students who are alloted a seat in Round 1 are requested to report between August 18 and August 20 to the respective institute.

The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Schedule for Admissions to Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra via the Direct Second Year (DSE) for the four year undegraduate engineering program for the academic year 2013-14 is declared.

Round 1 of the admissions is set to begin from August 12.

While the final merit list was declared on August 5, the actual commencement of the CAP Rounds is scheduled after a week.

The schedule is pretty long despite having three rounds of admission.  It's spread over a months time starting August 12 to September 7.

Even though the Final Merit Rank is declared, there is no notification regarding the Round wise Counselling Schedule on the DTE Wesbsite.

After checking your Provisional Merit Rank, if you find any error/flaw/mistake in the status, you can report the grievances to the ARC on August 2 and 3. Final Merit Ranks will be announced on August 5.

Direct Second Year Engg 2013-14 Admission Notification

Admissions to Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra via the Direct Second Year (DSE) for the four year undegraduate engineering program for the academic year 2013-14 is declared. Students seeking admissions via DSE can collect and submit the Application Forms between July 22 and July 28.

Direct Second Year Admissions are conducted for students who took up diploma after their 10th grade. These students will bve directly admitted to the second year of the engineering course. The sanctioned intake in every stream of every college is roughly 15% ie. 10 seats (assuming 60 seats per branch of a college).

Admissions to DSE are conducted after the First Year Engineering Admissions are completed. Currently, Round 3 (Spot Round) is being conducted at Aurangabad.
