The Engineering Common Entrance Test (CET) for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, for the academic year 2014-15 is tentatively scheduled around the second week of May 2014.

The Engineering Common Entrance Test (CET) for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, for the academic year 2014-15 is tentatively scheduled around the second week of May 2014.

IPU CET is conducted for various courses - Engineering (B.Tech), MBA, B.Sc - that are affiliated to GGSIPU colleges. All courses have a separate Common Entrance Test.

There are around 35 engineering colleges in and around Delhi that are affiliated to Indraprastha University while there are a good number of private and autonomous institutes which either admit students based on their own CET or on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

The B.Tech CET is tentatively scheduled in the second week of May, a couple of weeks before the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2014 (entrance for the Indian Institutes of Technology).

Candidates looking for a seat in Delhi and NCR engineering colleges (B.Tech) have to appear for the IPU CET.
