Mechanical Engineering - Course Description & Scope

Description:

Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest fields. Almost every company that designs and manufactures a product employs mechanicals engineer. Just for simplicity, the field is divided into two sections: design and manufacturing. A mechanical engineer designs everything; car parts, turbines, robots, biomedical products etc.

In terms of academics, you're going to spend your four years delving into the depths of not just statics and dynamics, but also the study of various materials and processes. Expect bucketloads of physical as well as computer aided drawing. Mechanical engineering is a core branch, so while quite interesting and logical, it isn't easy.
