Faculty is also not great; in fact the faculty is never permanent as there are no students to be taught. Most of the teachers are just BTech graduates and hired on temporary basis.

Crescent College of Technology has a small 5 acre campus which isn’t very attractive. The campus is not at all worth boasting about. The 5 storey building has a badminton court and other few facilities. There is a small grass lawn in front of the building which students use to play. Classrooms are not great and look like they are not used regularly, most of them shabby and not well maintained. Labs too, are inadequate and not well maintained. The workshops lack instruments and equipment. A small library with a few thousand books is present and used sometimes by the students.

Placements are not good in Crescent College of Technology and just like all other factors of the college, isn’t noteworthy. Companies do not come to the college for placements and if they do, they pick up very few students. Only a few students manage to get placed through off campus placements. Even though a placement assistance committee is present they are hardly able to get enough companies for placements.

Crescent College of Technology was established in 2007 and is located in Karond near Bhopal Memorial Hospital in Bhopal. Reaching the college is quite a task with no proper roads directly leading to the college. Bus service is available but the entire city is not well connected. Most students use their personal vehicles to college, if at all they come to college.

Hostel facilities for both boys and girls are available in the college but from what the students’ say- they are hardly used as most students prefer staying in the city as paying guests. The college does not have WiFi facility for the students.

None in the vicinity. DB Mall and Aashima mall is a couple of distant places where students occasionally go but in general, there is no great hangout near the campus.

The crowd in Crescent College of Technology is one who is aspiring to score a degree with little attendance. Many seats are vacant and the number of vacant seats in increasing every year. A lot of the students in this college prepare for the state and national services exams.

No wonder attendance too is not an important aspect in Crescent College of Technology. A few students attend college and many of them only come to appear for exams. Most students have very less attendance and not much is done to them except for the fine imposed upon by college, which the students are happy to pay and get riddance of attendance. Students, before joining the college very well know that the college is not serious about attendance.

Crescent College of Technology is a tier 3 college which shouldn’t be an option out of choice for any student. The college website is so poor that one wouldn’t believe it to be a college granting engineering degrees, see for yourself.
