The students are dissatisfied with the teaching and say that there are few professors who are knowledgeable, have good industry experience and actually keep interest in the students’ learning. “Others come to class with the only intention of finishing off the syllabus” says a disappointed student. “Practicals are even worse” says another.

The campus is comparable to most of the older reputed institutes around the country, playgrounds, open lawns and various recreational facilities can be found here. The academic block home to one of the finest lecture halls which are all air-conditioned and equipped with LCD projectors is worth appreciation. The library is divided into two parts; one part consists of a reading room which is spacious and has good seating arrangements whereas the other part has a great collection of books including a few medical books. Wi-Fi campus is an add-on.

The placements at DIPSAR were one of the best just a few years ago, but in recent years it has plummeted. Only 10% of the students manage to get jobs on campus, the others have to opt for higher studies or hunt for jobs on their own.

For those who wish to avoid the metro, it has got good bus connectivity as well – 419, 423, 522, 463, 525, 717 & 469 are some of the buses that drop right at the gate of the college.

Most of the students, being Delhi-ites come from an urban background. A lot of them come from east Delhi and Gurgaon areas as well. A small chunk of them come from the village-like areas of Najafgarh and Dwarka.

DIPSAR is quite relaxed when it comes to attendance. The students are told to maintain above 75% attendance but if it’s lower at the end of the year they are just asked to submit extra assignments as compensation.
