The college tries to retain their professors but many subject teachers keep changing frequently, which is rather discouraging. Yet it gets more and more experienced professors in replacement. The faculties taking the core subjects are senior ad are undoubtedly better teachers. The faculties are qualified, and very well versed with their subjects. The college makes sure that the interaction between students and the teachers is always good, so as to ensure better learning. Communication in the classroom is always in English although some do have difficulties in the beginning, but everyone’s made to feel comfortable soon.

Dhruva College of Management scores a 7 on 10 in this aspect. Dhruva College has a very typical architecture and style, but provides everything a student would need while on the campus. An open ground welcomes you first as you enter the campus. Inside, all the class rooms are air-conditioned and benches comfortable. The class rooms & studios are equipped with projectors to help with the presentations. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and students can access high speed internet 24 hours in the college and hostels. The library contains sufficient volumes of books that students use; enough for every single student on campus. The library is spacious; students are mature enough to maintain the decorum to keep the place conducive for learning.

Located in the northern outskirts of the city on Medchal Road, across the Outer Ring Road, is Dhruva College of Management. Kandlakoya is the nearest village, and CMR is the very next bus stop from there, and is quite a landmark in itself. Being far from the city, not many prefer to get their own vehicles so far, about 35 Km from Koti (supposedly the centre of Hyderabad. Only about 20% students get their own vehicles. Some stay in college hostels or in private PGs’ around. While many who find college buses unduly expensive, use the RTC buses which also drops till the college campus. 229 series from Secunderabad is frequent, but crowded most of the times.

The hostel like the college has good infrastructure and everything is well maintained. Rooms and passages are regularly cleaned. For recreation, there are indoor games, volleyball and badminton. Students are satisfied with the facilities provided and there are hardly any false claims they say, with the college brochure in their hands. Food at the mess is hygienic and tasty as well.

Well more or less there 240 Dhruvans in the college every year (both batches combines) of which a majority is from Andhra Pradesh itself. But there’s diversity among students with people also coming from Odisha, Bihar & Maharashtra. With respect to graduation backgrounds of the students, B.Com and Engineering take an equal share, while some are from BBA and Pharmacy backgrounds. Also unlike many other colleges, about 30% students here have previous work experience, which is far lesser in most B-Schools. People are decent and friendly and gel along well with people from different states and backgrounds.

Attendance isn’t a major issue here, but you need to maintain a decent attendance at the end of the semesters.

A decent PGDM college which provides everything that they promise. From education to infrastructure, food to jobs, nothing is out-of-the-world or exceptionally significant, but is good and humble enough for a local MBA college. The Alumnis’, students say, have are now at big positions in various reputed companies, and hence the job prospect they open up are promising.

The college conducts a seminar in the college every week mainly around current topics. Guest lecturers are interesting and the experience they bring along from their respective organization is insightful. Students are not at all forced to attend the seminars and only those who are interested attend.
Industrial Visits are mainly one-day events, every 2-3 months or about 7-8 in the entire course. Being a one-day thing, it doesn’t become an industrial-picnic for students, but remains as a good learning experience. The conduct of the IV is very professional and is mostly in and around Hyderabad.
