Dyanganga College of Engineering is known to have decent faculty for IT, Computers and Electrical departments. The same, perhaps cannot be concluded about the other departments. “We can't completely rely on our teachers…” quotes one of the Mechanical Engineering students, "but it's certainly better than what it was two years earlier" he continues.

Dyanganga College of Engineering and Research is part of the huge Zeal Institutes campus which hosts a couple of management colleges and a polytechnic apart from the engineering college. Classrooms, library and other academic facilities are first class, leaving little room for complaints. Students say that there has been drastic improvement in the last two years and it's only getting better every year. There is a girls hostel in the campus itself which has a rent of about Rs. 45,000/-. A lot of off campus PGs are also seen popping up around the campus.

Tremendous efforts from the placement officer of Zeal's Dyanganga College of Engineering has made it an attractive destination for numerous companies. Students are offered campus placement opportunities from companies like TCS, Infosys, Zensar, Tech Mahindra, L&T and many more. However, majority of the students aren't eligible to apply due to their poor academic performance and the reputation of the college often takes a hitting because of some non-performers. On the whole about 25-30% of the students get jobs on campus.

Zeal Education Society's Dnyanganga College of Engineering and Research is located in Narhe, a suburban locality towards the outskirts of South Pune. The accessibility to college via PMT buses is pretty bad and share-rickshaws are the only option other than private two wheelers. Although a patch of 50-70 metres of the approach road is dusty and gives a feeling of walking in a desert, things are improving quickly and the roads are expected to be good condition by the end of 2013.

The canteen is spacious and offers appropriate seating arrangements. Food served tastes decent and is hygienic enough for you to not fall sick.

Numerous food and snacks joints have popped right outside Zeal Education Society's Narhe campus. Hotel Gurunanak (Mess and Paratha house), Winner Soda's Pub, Zeal Coffee Shop, Cafe Weewee, Sai snacks centre and Trick snooker for pool & snooker are some of the favourites.

Zeal's Dyanganga College of Engineering and Research has a varied crowd. Enthusiastic faces are seen hopping around in the campus enjoying their college life to the fullest. On the other hand, some are seen with books even during lunch hours. And lastly, a small bunch of them are found to stick to some corner of the campus - absolutely lifeless. In short, you'll find your kind of people, whichever category you belong to.

Zeal's Dyanganga College of Engineering and Research is quite strict about attendance. Below 75%---parents are called… Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1000/- fines are levied and defaulters are made to write University papers.

Dyanganga College of Engineering has come a long way from what it was a couple of years earlier. The future seems promising and it could be a great choice for average to above average scorers.
