For even average faculty to teach in a college a few students must come to college but in Giridhar both students and teachers remain absent on most occasions. Very few students attend the college and similarly permanent teachers are also few. The faculty in the college is not up to the mark.

Giridhar group of Institutions college of Engineering and Polytechnic has one big building which also has its management college. The campus at the outset looks decent with three columnar frontal lawns and a central building. Classrooms look like they are not used at all and laboratories are below average. Apart from the mechanical laboratory which has existed for long, most of the labs are cramped and insufficient. Also, the workshops lack instruments and equipment. A small library with a few thousand books is present and used sometimes by the students.

Just like all other aspects of the college, placements in Giridhar Group of Institutions College of Engineering and Polytechnic are not noteworthy. Efforts are made to place a few students but apart from that the college has nothing to offer to its students.

Giridhar group of Institutions (GGI) College of Engineering and Polytechnic are located in the remote mandideep area very near to the railway lines ahead of Barkatullah University. The college provides for bus services to the students- the ones who come to college.

The college does not have a hostel of its own in the campus or in the city. Students are assisted with rented hostel spaces in the city and sometimes not even that is done. Not difficult to guess, the college does not have WiFi facility for the students.

Only because a management college is present in the same building, the crowd looks even; otherwise the crowd is sometimes not visible in the engineering and polytechnic departments. Many of students from Giridhar Group of Institutions College of Engineering and Polytechnic are actually preparing for state engineering services exams and other public service exams and hence to buy time for preparation, they join Giridhar.
