Faculty of ‘I square IT’ is average. There's a good blend of fresher or less experienced teachers and senior professors. Junior staff has mentor-ship of experienced staff of postgrad courses for which college is quite reputed.

Infrastructure of ‘I square IT’ is modern yet makes you feel nice. Every amenity and facility like the classrooms, laboratories, library, seminar rooms are well up to the mark and there are no complains about them. Campus is Wi-fi enabled but sadly passwords are provided only after second year. Recreational facilities are also good, which includes a football field, basketball and badminton courts also.

First batch yet to come in fourth year. However it is expected to be decent enough because of 1. its location in an IT park. 2. the reputation of PG sections of this college among recruiters.

International Institute of Information Technology, famous as IIIT is located in Hinjewadi about 20 km from centre of Pune. Hinjewadi is famous for the huge Rajiv Gandhi IT Park located very close to Mumbai-Pune Highway. In fact, some say that it's perhaps easier to reach the college from Mumbai rather than from Pune as the frequency of PMT buses is less!! People usually take other local means of transport like Tata Ace or Omnis' which are available on sharing basis or travel by their own vehicles.

Canteen is huge as it doubles up as a mess, inspite of that there is not much variety in food served. Only things you get here are traditional vegetarian food such as 'rice plate' or 'thali' which is enough to fill your stomach but not to satiate your taste buds. Good thing is that it is pocket friendly.

As IIIT is located in an IT Park, there are many good food joints and eateries nearby. The list includes CCD, McDonalds, Dominos, Subway and other restaurants within a stone's throw. There is also a river nearby.

As the college is located way outside of Pune, a mixture of urban & semi-urban crowd should be expected. Also do not expect a lot of eye candies here, you'll be disappointed then. But overall the crowd is definitely better than some of the other newly started Engineering Colleges on outskirts of Pune. And you'll be able find a few like-minded people soon after college starts.

The college was lucky to have a festival in its first year. But it was not at all a worth to be called a great event, all thanks to the silly management of the students conducting it. Apart from this festival, quite a few technical seminars & ‘value-added courses’ were also conducted here.

International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) is a comparatively new college. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a good college. It is very strict about discipline, rules, term work & attendance. Also it is quite far from city. Leaving apart these two factors, college does quite well on other parameters.
