Faculty is very good especially for commerce-related courses. Also some of the masters courses were started off in Hinduja so that’s a remarkable thing. They are friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with. A lot of guest faculty lectures in every branch take place regularly giving students a taste of the real world. BMM is the most scarred course till now with a bad co-ordinator and a very mediocre faculty. The main staff comprising of vice-principal and principal etc could be absolutely un-supportive and deaf.

Infrastructure is poor. No campus no playing ground whatsoever. It has a rich-poor management who do not care to clean the classrooms so if you take admission over here you might as well get yourself prepared to sit in a room full of hairballs and tea cups lying unattended. Classrooms for the degree courses are AC while for Juniors College they are non-ac. Library has a good collection of books. And atmosphere is well-maintained. Computer lab is well equipped. When it comes to sports you better have a lot of driving force to make your position and your sport recognized otherwise everything goes on deaf ears.

Scope of placement lies mostly in B.Com other than that the placement cell is almost invisible.

You are climbing down the Charni Road station bridge and you see this humongous structure famously known as 'Saifee'. It is just a hospital overtly-decorated and no scope for a pub or bar. Just about a minute walk through a line of filthy Frankie-wallahs and garages you see ‘The Best College Of Mumbai University’. Supposedly.
The college is located near the busy diamond district of Mumbai. It is well connected with the rest of Mumbai owing to the railway station and the numerous buses plying on this route.

The infamous hang-out is the 18-table canteen which has a vegetarian menu. One would find pastas and pizzas on the menu but you'd rather stick to the good 'ol chinese. Infrastructure wise nothing and rather than the official canteen the thelas outside do pretty well. Good dosas and fruit juices about 20 steps from the college boundary. if really in a mood to eat healthy, Subway can treat you. Samrat cafe is again one of those udupis' where idli fry rocks.

Major hangouts has to be Marine Drive. Other than that there are a number of expensive restaurants like Creme Centre, New Yorkers, New York Cafe where there also is pool but currently under construction. There's also Shiv Sagar around, which is famous for its pav bhaji and faloodas and juices. There is Central Plaza to bunk and watch the latest movies just near-by. There's also Kobe's Sizzlers around. 'Tease' is where you can go to have good italian food. Walk for 15 mins and you have merwans just opp. grant road so if you want to have your chai, anda bread and bun maska ka naashta, this is the place to be.

Crowd doesn’t really stand out. Hinduja is one of the good college for commerce so the crowd seems to be nerdy and un-participative. The trend of festivals has just started to set in and probably we can expect a better crowd.
Recently the college has gained a good reputation and has been garnering some good students. The crowd is predominated by Gujratis and Marwaris. Most of the students from the college come from rich families and ostentatious behaviour is seen.

Aiyana, Techmortals and Finvest do just about fine.

Attendance is slightly course-specific here. The junior college is rather strict about attendance, which means you need to maintain about 60% to be on the safe side.
Graduation is far more liberal; many students pursuing CA/CFA often have single digit attendance and get away with it.

Definitely, Hinduja is one of the best colleges if you’re interested in Commerce and you are career-oriented types. But as far as social life is involved it fails to offer quality.
