Metropolitan Institute of Technology & Management (MITM) is severely short staffed. Almost all the teachers are fresher or very less experienced. Except 1 or 2 teachers, they are not good at teaching. But they are very friendly & believe in giving freedom to students.

I agree teachers are not well experienced but not for all. If required some visitor lecturers come to teach and they are all well experienced.. and from popular colleges.Senior staff are less qualified but well experienced and friendly.

Since MITM is a new college started in 2011, infrastructure is still under construction. Campus is spread over 10 acres. The basic facilities like labs, classrooms & library are in place.

Metropolitan Institute of Technology & Management (MITM) is located in Oras, Sindhudurg. Sindhudurg Railway Station is a stone's throw away from the college. It is more than 500 km from Mumbai and 60 km from Goa. While coming by road it is 4 km away off Mumbai-Goa road.

No hangouts except one sports club beside the college. Malvan fort and beach is half an hour from college. GOA is best to go in weekends.

About 30% of the crowd is from Mumbai, 20% is from GOA and the rest are local students. Boy-girl ratio is 10:1. Overall it is a boring and dull crowd.

Except EXTC - which requires 75% attendance - all the other departments are very lenient. You'll hardly find students who regularly attend lectures.

Number of 'drops' is very large in initial batches of Metropolitan Institute of Technology & Management (MITM). It is partly due to quality of education and partly due to students' ineptitude. Also there's no additional coaching facility available near college. Students studying here are of the opinion that you should never ever join this college unless you are very keen to waste 4 precious years of your life.

Sorry for fake id and fake name... it's college, they unnecessarily keep on fining studsimply that I don't want to reveal my identity.. I want you guys to help me out if possible.. I'm fed up with this boring college. I want to log complain.. but i don't know where exactly to log the complain. This college don't have any faculties for any branch. We don't even have a properly qualified principal. He is just BE. I'am so fedup of myent for any stupid reasons. Our teachers are so dumb that they just don't know the proper syllabus of any particular subject.. all they do is play politics all arouand the college. I want you guys to help the students of this college by telling everything to our University.. Hope it will help us in any possible way.
