MMK has a good library with availability of books. The classrooms aren’t air-conditioned for BCom students but BMS and BMM departments get to use it. Along with a Wifi enabled campus, sports sessions are usually conducted in Khar Gymkhana. The college shares its campus with Thadomal Shahani Engineering College and National College.

The quality of the food is above average and is easily affordable. It is not very spacious, though! Students often say that, "jab Bandra Linking road hai toh kyun canteen mein timepass karna" (When there is Bandra Linking Road, why waste your time in the canteen?)

As it is under the HSNC board, majority of the students are Sindhis. In spite of that, you meet a lot of students from various backgrounds and different castes and religion. A complete cosmopolitan crowd is seen in MMK. BMS and BMM crowd have a lot of pretty faces and handsome studs. Students give equal time to festivals as well academics.

MMK IS NOT very strict in terms of attendance. Though 75% is officially compulsory, students with 45-50% easily manage to clear the academic year. No special leave to students who want to pursue CA. Permissions aren’t granted but most of them manage to bunk and still continue to get their degree.
