The professors are senior with around 25 years of teaching experience and hence the students should have nothing to worry about. Guest lectures are held every Saturday, wherein Industry professionals (from the country and abroad) are invited, to share their experience in their respective fields.

Campus is big (Smaller compared to Azam campus in the neighborhood) but it’s sufficient enough. There a small open area which Is bound by a ledge on which students sit in their free time. All the required facilities like projectors, presentation rooms, reading hall, and internet are sufficiently fulfilled. The library is not the best in the town, but it hosts enough books, about the various management subjects that the students require.

If there are no backlogs you are eligible for campus placements. The college makes sure that every student gets a good summer internship of their choice. The placements are said to be great with a minimum salary of 4 Lakh Rupees per annum. In 2011 one student was placed as Pune Region Manager of Vodafone at a package of 6.5 Lakh Rupees per annum.

Poona Institute of Management Sciences & Entrepreneurship(PIMSE) is located in central Pune’s Camp Area which has excellent connectivity with all parts of the city. Travelling, thus, isn’t an issue here. Nearly half the students commute by the local PMT buses, a very high ratio as compared to other colleges in Pune where most of the student prefer their own two-wheeler.

The common canteen is big and spacious, and serves awesome Chinese food. Its so good that Azam campus students also come here to enjoy it. The rates are not exactly economical (sada dosa comes for 25 bucks) There is a separate canteen reserved for Girls.

A sports fest is held in the month of January, and is an event the students wait for eagerly.

85% attendance is required sail smooth through the semester. Internal marks may be affected if the attendance falls below 85%. But students themselves do not tend to bunk lectures (unlike junior colleges) because the topics and the professors make them interesting enough.

The MBA course was started in the year 2009, and the college is thus in its nascent stage. Yet the placement for the first batch has been excellent. So all in all, a good option if you want to stay in the central areas of Pune.
