The students are quite happy with their professors. Of course, there are a couple of teachers who may not be up to the mark, or who might be a bit too egoistic for their own good, but that's the case everywhere, isn't it? At least you can be assured that at SIES, all professors are qualified and knowledgeable enough to be teaching you.

SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce boasts of a campus which is right up there with the best in Navi Mumbai, and perhaps even Mumbai. They have a small lawn within the campus, but students have free access to a number of grounds close to the college. The libraries - three in all, are well equipped and very well maintained; there's no air conditioning here, but the students seem to be very satisfied anyway, perhaps because all books are easily available, and even those that aren't, are ordered. All the laboratories are fully air conditioned and never fall short of equipments. The computer labs for BMM students should be singled out for praise- they're fantastic! All in all, excellent infra.

SIES has decent placements, with about 60-70 percent of students getting job offers. The major recruiters are BPOs and advertising firms, but once in a while companies such as L&T, AC Nielson and HCL also pick up students. Average salaries are normally between 15 and 20 thousand per month.

Although the canteen may seem slightly small when you consider that it caters to SO many students, it's never too crowded, because the college timings are very well planned. You get excellent south Indian food (of course), and even the Chinese and the sandwiches are quite decent. The "Executive Lunch" is a crowd favourite.

SIES has a 50 percent minority quota for South Indians, which is by no means a bad thing. The crowd is pretty good; a good blend of slightly studious and pretty fun loving students. You're sure to find enough people to relate to.

The college hosts a number of festivals, most falling between December and February. The BBI fest Synergy, BScIT fest Renegade, BMS fest Sharpshooters and the BMM fest Frames provide cushioning for the common cultural festival, Seasons, which a number of colleges from across the city participate in.
Frames is a one-of-a-kind festival, since it involves ONLY screening of movies, and attracts stars from Bollywood every year.

SIES is fairly lenient when it comes to attendance. You'll be pretty safe if your attendance is anything above 50 percent, and even if it goes below, all you have to do is complete twelve hours of detention in the library. If you fail to even do that much, your parents are called and asked to sign a bond stating that you'll markedly improve your attendance henceforth. And that means 70 percent.

SIES is one of those colleges where you have overall development. Definitely one of the top two in Navi Mumbai, it would be fair to rate it among the top ten colleges in Mumbai, considering the entire experience.
