The students have no complaints about the professors. The permanent faculty comprises of senior and well experienced teachers. There are guest lectures held every Thursday. Personality development sessions are also held occasionally.

Since the college was started in 2002, it has good infrastructure the library is decent, and the labs are excellent. However, there is no playground- only a volleyball court for students to re-create themselves. Hostel facility with a capacity of 450 students is available. Wireless connectivity in the campus is an add-on.

Vishwakarma Institutes have created a good legacy for themselves and Vishwakarma Institute of Management (VIM) also lives up to the same. Almost 100% placements are recorded with average salary being around Rs. 3.5 lakh per year. Major recruiters include companies like ICICI Securities, Axis Bank, Nalco. The college is supportive in case of Summer internships as well. Karvy, Amul, AC Nielson, Religare are some of the companies the students get placed for summer internships.

Vishwakarma Institute of Management (VIM) is located far from the city, in a remote area. The accessibility is not good and most of the students either reach there by their own vehicle or stay in the hostel.
