Admissions to Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Communication & Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar are carried on basis of score in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. There is only one branch ICT (Information & Communication Technology) with an intake of 240 students. The admission procedure is very simple & straightforward.

• You need to obtain application form from selected branches of AXIS Bank OR by Demand Draft (DD) on the name of institution. You can also download it from their website by making online payment. Sale of application form usually starts in March.
• You need to submit the duly filled-in application form along with a copy of your JEE Main Marksheet either online or offline by post.
• The short-listed candidates, based on the merit rank, will be called for counselling at Gandhinagar and will be offered admission in order of their merit.
• Before counselling, you & your parents will get a chance to see the campus & infrastructure and to interact with faculties, after which your documents will be scrutinised and admission will be confirmed if they're found in order.
• 50% of the seats (i.e 120 in number) shall be reserved for students of Gujarat.
• Additional 24 seats (making total batch strength 264) shall be reserved for NRI & FN students. Their admissions will be based on SAT scores. These seats, if not filled, will NOT be available to Indian students.
• Generally, all the seats at DA-IICT gets filled in the first round. If any seat remains vacant, there might be additional rounds of counselling as per discretion of authorities.
