Admission Procedure for Nirma University


Institute of Technology - Nirma University, Ahmedabad has 50% its of seats reserved for Gujarat state students which are filled via a centralised process conducted by ACPC. The remaining 50% seats - divided into all India category seats (35%) and NRI seats (15%) - are filled by the institute. Given below is the admission and counselling procedure for 35% all India institute level seats.

Eligibility:

  • You should take JEE (Main)
  • You also must have passed 12th Science Examination (from schools located in India including Gujarat) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 45% marks.

Admission Procedure:

Step 1: Fill in the online application form which is made available on the websites www.nirmauni.ac.in and www.itnuadmission.com in the 2nd week of April.

The form has to be duly filled and submitted by 1st week of May approximately.

Step 2: Check out the provisional merit list based on JEE Main scores made available on above two websites.

Step 3: Online counseling for locking in the branch choices will be tentatively carried out in 3rd week of May.

Login with your user-id and password to fill your choices. You can modify them any number of times before the closing date, after which they will be locked.

If you are allotted a seat, you will be given allotment infromation registered email id and the mobile number using email and SMS respectively.

You can either accept or reject that seat and remain in the process for subsequent rounds in both the cases. You'll have to select appropriate option online for the same else you'll be out of the process.

Step 4: Reporting at Institute for fee payment

If you are allotted a seat and you accept it online, you'll have to report to the institute within stipulated time as per the schedule along with following mentioned documents (original and two sets of photo copies), two passport size photographs and necessary fee.

  1. S.S.C.E Mark Sheet
  2. School Leaving Certificate
  3. H.S.C.E. Mark Sheet
  4. Score card of JEE (Main)
  5. Admit Card of JEE (Main)
  6. Equivalence certificate (In case of Letter Grades / Performance Indices or Graded Point Average are given in qualifying examination)

Subsequent rounds maybe conducted based on vacancy of seats after first round.
