Preparation:

I started my preparation 5 months prior to taking the CAT. I dedicated around 3 hours everyday towards preparation. I had joined coaching class and followed their pattern while studying. I was very regular with the tests and the corresponding doubt solving sessions. I also joined a test series which was on an all india basis.

I used study resources provided to me by the coaching institute. The material provided by the classes is more than enough. I also practiced many of the free online tests available and had joined a test series and I guess this was adequate.

Advice to juniors:

Coaching Institutes are helpful in to keep your studies go in a very systematic manner. Regular test are required to make you aware of how well prepared are you. It helps you know your strengths and weakness so that you work upon them.

PRACTICE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!

Experience in MBA Institute:

Campus
It is small compared to the various IIMs, but then the good thing is that everything is nearby. The institute has a campus unlike many other institutes.

Food
The food is good. As per what I have heard from my friends in other institutes, the food here is much better. But after a few days you get bored eating the same kind of food

Teaching Staff
Faculty is excellent. I am very impressed by them.

Students
The crowd is easy to blend with. XL propagates good bonding environment.
