CMAT - Common Management Admission Test - MBA Entrance Exams | Management (MBA,MMS,PGDM)

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

General Description:

The Common Management Admission Test is an online test held twice a year in September and February, over a period of about five days each. It is a pretty straightforward exam, conducted by AICTE, and is intended to eventually replace most of the state-specific Entrance Tests. A number of colleges have already announced that they'll consider CMAT scores, and you can expect many more to follow suit. Students are eligible to appear for both the tests and the BEST of the two scores will finally be considered.

Maharashtra’s Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has decided to do away with CET and accept CMAT score for admission to MBA, MMS or PGDM courses.

Accepting Institutes:

All the AICTE-approved institutes are expected to accept CMAT scores. However, biggies like IIMs, XLRI and some more of them wont yet be a part of CMAT.Here is the List of CMAT Registered Colleges.

The exam will be held twice a year from the academic year 2012-13. The first window will be in September and the second in the month of February. There is a window of 5-6 days during which you can select a date and take the online test.
