Stage 1A: Minimum CAT 2012 Percentile as follows:

Stage 1B: Merit list generated using the weights assigned to various criteria as below:
- CAT Score : 38%
- Class 10 Marks : 1%
- Class 12 Marks : 1%
- Grad Marks : 3%
- Work Ex: 2% for PGP, 0 for PGP-ABM
- Diversity Factor A*: 3% for PGP, 5% for PGP-ABM
- Diversity Factor B**: 2%
*You get full 3 marks for Diversity Factor A (PGP) if you are from one of the specified fields which includes almost all fields except engineering.
*5 marks are rewarded for Diversity Factor A (PGP-ABM) if you are from one of the specified fields which includes mostly courses related to agriculture and food.
**Girls get full 2 marks, guys get none for Diversity Factor B
Stage 2: Evaluation of candidates in GDPI for PGP/PGP-ABM programme
Written Ability Test: 10
Group Discussion : 10
Personal Interview : 30
Stage 3: Generation of final admission offer list to PGP/PGP-ABM programme
Grand Total = Shortlist Total (Stage 1B) + GDPI Total (Stage 2)
