Preparation:

I started attending classes for CAT preparation one and half year before the examination. But I started putting a serious effort some 5-6 months before the actual exam. Ideally, one should peak at the right time. I have seen people who start slogging right from the word go and in the end when it actually matters they are exhausted.

On an average before September, I managed to give at least 2 hours per day. This slowing increased to around 3-4 hours per day in September. Later, in the last month I gave approximately 6 hours per day.

Advice to juniors:

  • Just relax and do not succumb under the pressure
  • Spend some time doing something you like
  • Don’t overburden yourself
  • On the day of CAT, only stress and tension will reduce your marks.
  • Keeping solving your doubts by asking them to your tutors and peers

Guys please work hard if you are really passionate to join IIMs. It is worth every bit of your hard work. I can guarantee that you will be able to achieve everything you want through an IIM.
