Introduction:

TECHNITUDE 2K14 is the 15th edition of the technical festival of Datta Meghe of Engg (DMCE). The year 2014 marks the 25th year of establishment of the institute. The festival is organised annually with a wide variety of technical and fun events. Colleges and institutes all over Navi Mumbai and Mumbai are invited to participate in the festival activities and events. Technical events such as Robo Maze and Robo wars,Technical Debate,Tech Hunt challenges the expertise of the students in the field of engineering, robotics, analytical ability. Pixomania, Picturostake allow the participants to display their photographic skills and encourages them to show their cinematography knacks. Fun-events like Lazer Tag,Sumo Wrestling and SAW (Shock Arm Wrestling) allows the participants to enjoy themselves at TECHNITUDE 2K14.

Events

ROBO WARS: Bots battle it out for the title of the 'Numero Uno'. Bots of aspecific standard,measurement and weight will be competing in an arena (specifications to be declared later). Any bot rendered not working due to technical problems or crossing the boundary of the arena will be deemed disqualified and subsequently out of the competition.

ROBO MAZE: Guide your robot through a maze(specifications to be declared).

THE LOOP TASK:   Slow and steady wins the race. But what if you have to be quick and steady? All we demand is a TOUCH-THEM-NOT. It touches it buzzes! Guide a metal loop through a irregularly shaped metal wire without touching it.

TECHNICAL DEBATE: Your ideas your opinions. Present them to beat your opponent. You will be heard, observed and judged! 

TECH HUNT: Use your detective skills and technical know-how. It's time for tech hunt!

PIXOMANIA: It is one of the flagship events of the festival. Participants have to complete a set of given adventurous tasks click photographs and submit in a specified amount of time. Winners will be determined on the basis of the time taken and the points accumalated.

PICTUROSTAKE: Submit a short film. Her's your chance to think different and present it on the screen.

LAZER TAG: A game of strategy, accuracy, trigger happy participants and lots of fun!

SUMO WRESTLING: FIGHT! your opponent in a sumo suit and knock your opponent out of the sumo ring to win!

SAW(Shock Arm Wrestling): The usually one-on-one arm duel witha SHOCKING surprise for the loser.
