The teaching staff at Acharya Narendra Dev College is not very experienced. The college lacks senior professors and is a big drawback. Botany department has a renowned faculty and an excellent teaching staff. Students from the same department are extremely satisfied with the teaching. Apart from botany, nothing much can be commented on other departments. Lectures are conducted in English though some prefer Hindi.

I completely disagree with @vivek7890.
It is a wonderful college with the most helpful teachers. Of course, they are too strict at times, but their knowledge cannot be questioned. I'm haveing a very good time there!

The small campus of Acharya Narendra Dev lacks green cover as there are only a few trees and plants in the campus. The classrooms are not air conditioned and overall rating for he infrastructure would be just average. Fortunately, they’re well ventilated. The air-conditioned library has a lot of useful books which are available in decent numbers. The wifi enabled campus lacks hostel facility. In short, the infrastructure is just about average and needs development.

Placements at Acharya College is not something that you would be pleased to hear. Only 10 students out of 60 in a batch gets placed with an average salary of something around 3 lakhs per annum. Moreover, the companies that come to recruit are the local companies of Delhi.

Acharya Narendra Dev College is located in a pretty crowded market area of Govindpuri. The nearest metro station is Govindpuri on the violet/purple line and is roughly 7 minutes walking from the college. Students prefer metros or sometimes the DTC buses which has good frequency. Accessibility to the college isn’t that big a problem though the area is very crowed and surrounded by hundreds of vegetable and fruit vendors.

The canteen lacks in variety of food items and quality as well though whatever is available is decent, edible and affordable. Students demand a good canteen but there have been no changes in the same.

Movie lovers can go to the local Sapna Cinema, though Plaza at Connaught Place would be for those who believes in quality and obviously who can afford as well. Agrawal Hotel, Dominos and some local food stalls completes the hangout of this college.

As Acharya Narendra Dev College is affiliated to University of Delhi (DU), most of the students are from the main city and other regions like Noida and Gurgaon especially. The boys to girls ratio is pretty much equal. “The overall crowd is very simple, not at all fashionable, and pretty much village like”, quotes a group of final year students. The college crowd is quite decent. They don't normally indulge in ragging or brawling which is why the college is pretty safe even for girls.

VERY STRICT! Students have to maintain 66% compulsorily, failing which their admit card is withheld. Some students say that shortage of a single percent can cost you a lot. Attendance is certainly one of the parameters students need to be careful of.

The college is good for science course in South campus though faculty and infrastructure needs to be focussed on. All in all, not one of the best colleges in Delhi University, Acharya Narendra Dev College is a good choice for any average scorer.

I go to this college. Joining this was the worst decision of my life. My life has been ruined. The teachers cannot teach, the infrastructure is worse than that of a village school, no college life or any development for the student. Go for any college except this.
