Attendance cant be taken lightly here. Falling short of the criteria will cause the parents to be summoned. Since there are marks associated with the attendance, a general trend is seen that students manage to have 85% of attendance.

Gargi College, like other DU colleges, has a good infrastructure and good lawns within the campus. Gargi also has huge grounds on the campus itself. The labs are well equipped and some are even air conditioned.

The college also works hard for student placements. Considering the current job market and environment, placements are hard to get by but still Gargi was able to get quite a few companies on its campus

It is located in one of the most posh area of Delhi. The college is 5 mins from South Ex. The nearest metro station is Green Park but don’t expect to walk up the distance. The area has many other institutions around and is one of the best areas of Delhi. The only problem here is finding a PG.

Canteen is hygienic and that too not something which will be heavy on the pocket. To give you an insight into the canteen, samosa costs Rs 5 and thali is the hot favourite among the students. Also don’t expect to find a seat easily here.

In Gargi students claim that the crowd is from different socio-economic background. There are many students who commute by car and many others have guy friends at their service. Smoking is commonplace here although it is a girls college.

Gargi does have an annual college festival which is visited by colleges all over Delhi. One of the highest point for the college festival was when Mohit Chauhan visited the Gargi during the festival.

The science faculty is very reputed here and students too agree to it . Teachers mainly communicate in English and they are also able to convey to the students properly. The teachers are friendly and very rarely stuedents face problems due to them.
