BKPS College of Architecture is known for its faculty, and the students testify to the fact that the professors are some of the best that architecture has to offer. All the professors are highly qualified, experienced, and surprisingly co-operative. There is a downside, of course – they’re quite strict – but the students understand that this is probably for a reason and enjoy it.

Well, the building of the college is not that good, to be honest. BKPS College of Architecture doesn’t really have a campus. It’s nearly impossible to run away from class, but even if you manage to, where would you go? The studio and just about everything else is all in one room, so it gets pretty cramped up.
Their library, while not a visual treat, is extremely well-equipped. There are thousands of old and new books available, and students proudly boast that it’s among the best architecture libraries in the whole of Pune. And although the infrastructure is nothing to be proud of, at least the internet connection works fine.

BKPS (Bharatiya Kala Prasaran Sanstha) College of Architecture is pretty accessible, located very close to Swargate. Unfortunately, though, most students live far, far away from here and invariably have to take slow, dirty buses.

The 40 strong intake of the college comprises of a pretty good mix of crowd, with a few students from outside Maharashtra as well. People come from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, but somehow gel together really well.

The college is said to be pretty strict about attendance, but students don’t normally find out, since their attendance is generally in the higher eighties anyway. Whether this is due to the interesting lectures or the fear of defaulting, we don’t know, but we’d like to believe it’s the former. How else can you explain such high attendance in spite of no exams?

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Though the infrastructure is very average, the college is really good. Its one of these old age places of real learning. If you get admission here, don't think just take it !

The college does participate actively in NASA, and has won a number of trophies in the past. Although it’s going through what may be called a rough patch since a couple of years, it’s bound to bounce back, thanks to the excellent support and co-operation from teachers.
