Faculties teaching at Chimanbhai Patel Institute are all well qualified and they all pour their heart into teaching. Some teachers are so good at their jobs that they are known in all colleges over city and are considered as THE best in their particulars fields in GTU.

College campus is big and divided into various blocks for different courses like MBA, MCA, BBA & BCA. Each building is made of red and grey bricks to give a feel of typical management educational institution. Inside there are spacious classrooms with comfortable benches and projectors set up in each of them. Computer and internet labs are air-conditioned. Wi-fi internet can be accessed from anywhere in the campus. Overall the infrastructure is quite good and maintained, just like how it should be in an MBA institute.

About 40% of the students manage to secure a job during campus placements. Jobs were offered in various fields including financial markets, banks and IT sectors. The packages were 2.2 Lakh (lowest) and 4 Lakh (highest) during the recession period. Many people have their own/family businesses and they don’t sit for placement, bringing the overall placement ratio down.

Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Business Administration is located on the lifeline of Ahmedabad - SG Highway near Prahladnagar. Connectivity with all parts of city, suburbs and Gandhinagar is very good thanks to efficient AMTS and GSRTC buses. Although college campus is touching the very busy highway, environment inside college building is peaceful and serene.

There is a separate block for the canteen and thus it is quite spacious and airy. Although there is not much variety on the menu but they do serve tasty, fresh and hot samosas, Chinese and pulao at easily affordable rates.

Students are from various parts of Gujarat in MBA while in other courses Ahmedabad forms a greater majority. Stress level of these students is very low as work load is not much and other stupid disciplinary are also not in practice. And there are gym, pool table, table tennis and gymkhana facilities to break whatever little stress they gather during lectures. Also the campus is nice with green lawns where you can sit with friends to chill.

“Crust” is the annual festival held around January – February. There are various sorts of events – cultural, management and sports. It is arranged by MBA students but other faculty students also participate in their capacity.

80% attendance is initially asked from students but it is not followed very seriously. The action taken in worst case is to call parents to meet parents and other actions which are taken are very minor. Thus attendance is not a big issue and it can be managed but majority of the students are very sincere and they attend the classes regularly irrespective of any attendance rules.
