The faculty is quite acclaimed here. They are said to be teaching well and they themselves are also very qualified and experienced. Language is not a problem here, unlike many other institutes, where faculty communicates in English, Hindi and Marathi as well.

The campus is huge and has an ample parking space; hence most of the students prefer getting their own vehicles. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. Surprisingly the campus is not wi-fi enabled, but internet is accessibility is there via the labs. CAD lab and the library are really worth mentioning.

the infrastructure is bad as well, it seems as if the college is just paying the gardeners to keep the landscape intact

DY Patil college of Architecture is located in the D Y Patil education complex in Akurdi. It is accessible by local trains and buses. It is hardly 5 minutes from the Akurdi station. The buses drop you on the highway which is quite far from the college, so you may not consider it as a viable option.

Canteen is common for all the courses like pharmacy, engineering, mca, etc. The food is tasty and affordable, but there's a space crunch in the lunch time when everyone rushes to canteen.

Half the crowd is localities but the other half comprises of people from all over the country. Girls outnumber the guys here, a good reason for you to come here (if you are a guy).

It isn’t very strict, quite relaxed if you are able to attend up to 50% of the lectures.

If architecture fascinates you then this is a very good option, having a good campus, and a good diversity of crowd.

no exposure, you just come to college regularly in a uniform and sit there like a dummy even if there aint no class.
the area is a secluded area, all u'd get is people with cheap mentality around, attention seekers and wanna be's who seem to lead nowhere
just DON'T join this college if you're into practical learning, correct learning and gaining experience
and i forgot one point the teachers in here speak amazing english (sarcasm intended)
