The faculty is decent apart from a counted few, which you will find in all colleges. The teachers here are friendly and teach with dedication but the students aren't as dedicated to learn. Conversing is not a problem here, but students are not interested.

The college campus is big. The classrooms are also spacious and airy. Auditorium is still under construction. The campus surprisingly is wifi enabled. The college library is not updated with new books complained some students.

The college is located very near the metro station of Karol Bagh. It is hardly any distance from there. The college is near the famous Ganga Ram College. The college is in central Delhi and is well connected. No problems commuting to the college.

There are some outlets of KFC, Nirulas's, CCD and others. There is a chat guy who is stalled just outside the college and serves really amazing chat. Gol Gappe ( pani puri) here is something for which you would always find a long queue.

The crowd here is not really good. There are many students who have not come to terms with the urban and modern India. The BCom crowd is still decent but BA crowd is not really good apart form a few. Like every college you will tend to find some your type people, so don't be disheartened. Some of the BCom crowd is lively, that is what the Arts students had to say. Being a girls college they are more of studious type and not the ones who would bunk and do 'vellagiri', which is good for someone wanting to study.

Like many other DU colleges, Janki Devi also requires you to maintain 66% attendance as per the DU norms, failure to do so, you have to sign a bond stating that you will attend next year which hardly students follow.
