Just what you expect from an institution this longstanding, faculties are brilliant. All are highly experienced in both teaching field and legal practice. They discuss various legal cases related to the topic being taught and share the gems of wisdom from their own experiences with the students.
There are many guest lectures conducted by HC judges that are common to the other law college on campus – Sir LA Shah Law College. Students find them very interesting and informative.

GLS has a moderate sized campus and the area has been utilized in such a way that not an inch is wasted. Although IM Nanavati Law College is over 50 years old, infra is run-down; it is rather swanky and modern. Although the classrooms are not AC, they are airy and comfortable. They are planning to implement centralized air-condition soon. Their library has many books, solved papers and research material. It is considered as one of the best law college libraries in Ahmedabad. Wi-Fi is there in campus but law students aren’t allowed to use it. Also they’re planning to create a full digital campus, where students will be equipped with tablets and stuff like attendance, notes etc. can be accessed through them. There are no dedicated moot courts. Conference halls are also there but they’re mostly used by LLM students.

GLS campus is located in the heart of Ahmedabad and is famous all over the city. Connectivity by AMTS is great but BRTS hasn’t yet reached here. Many share autos are also available to various parts of city. However public transport is not of much importance for GLS students as most of them travel by their bikes and cars. Only those coming from Gandhinagar have to face the commotion of public transport.

There is just one small canteen between all the colleges & courses on campus and seating arrangement is very poor. There is not much variety in food stuffs available here. Most of the times you get snacks and packed items and meals are available only twice a week. Some improvement in canteen is needed.
