There are many junior faculties having just 5 years of experience, which honestly isn’t bad on a relative basis. Students are also happy with their teaching and then there are senior professors and HODs to guide them. Largely speaking faculties of all departments are good except COGNOSY which students find too dull.

The sprawling campus of Nirma University is spread over a massive 110 acres. It is lush, expansive, pollution free and beautiful. The grey coloured buildings planned in a unique architectural style, give the campus that typical feel of educational premises. All the classrooms are well-lit and well-ventilated and the benches are comfortable. Labs too are well-equipped and maintained; the equipment & materials are replaced and replenished regularly. Their libraries are superb; there are many volumes of books, research papers and access to online journals. Also locating and issuing books is very convenient thanks to the digital library management system. Reading room and computer labs are AC and there’s internet in the latter.
There are facilities for various indoor and outdoor sports but you need to obtain permission to use them. It is used mostly by those participating in matches and tournaments.
There are no hostels on campus. But accommodation is easily available in nearby hostels like Hiramani & Radha Krishna. The rooms there are twin or triple sharing.

Nirma University is located on the SG highway near SP Ring road junction. It is near northern city limits of Ahmedabad and commuting via AMTS is convenient as buses from major parts of the city ply till here. However very few students are seen using this service, instead they commute by college buses or sharing autos or private vehicles. There are many college buses going to all over Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
