Well, faculty in Mittal Institute of Technology is not up to the mark. Most teachers are fresh BTech graduates from Bhopal itself. Some are pursuing MTech while teaching the students. Very few branches have well established teachers, while most of them suffer fluctuating faculties and inexperienced teachers. So said, the teachers are helpful and cooperative. A lot (almost all) of the students opt for tuitions in the city and hence do not pay attention to whatever is happening in the college.

Mittal Institute of Technology has a small campus with just single 3 storey building along a fairly long stretch. Apart from a small area of land in front of the building, covered by green grass, the campus does not boast any other notable feature. Labs in the college are not well equipped, much of the equipments are redundant. Even the workshop are yet again, not well equipped. There is a library that just about meets the basic requirements to be labelled as a library with some basic books. Classrooms are airy and well ventilated with simple chairs and benches.

Mittal Institute of Technology has tried really hard to place as many students as possible. Students got placed with a few local companies coming for on campus placements. The highest salary recorded was 3 LPA while the average salary offered was 1.6 LPA. Students who do not get placed study further, try for off campus placements or search for small time jobs.

Mittal Institute of Technology is an engineering college established in 2007 and is located bang opposite to Bhopal Memorial Hospital in Bhopal. Most students use bus services provided by the college while students who stay really close by use their own two wheelers to reach college.

Mittal Institute of Technology does not have hostels in campus. The boys hostel is near Bhopal Memorial Hospital, close to the campus while the girls hostel is located in Indrapuri area of Bhopal. Most students are locals or have arranged for themselves in the form of PGs or common hostels. Although the college has claimed to be having WiFi facilities, students do not see any of it.

A canteen is present in the campus but not worth talking much about. It is just another place for the students to eat whatever is available.

DB Mall and Aashima mall is a couple of distant places where students occasionally go but in general, there is no great hangout near the campus.

Most students studying in Mittal Institute of Technology are local students who have been living nearby. The crowd isn’t great and has visibly less exposure to the greater aspects of technical education. One sees very few girls in the campus, very few!

Attendance is considered safe at 50% although official requirement is 75%. Students falling short of the requisite attendance pay a fine but nobody gets rusticated. In most cases punishment is not very severe and everybody escapes. As the college is not very popular, it goes easy on students.

Mittal Institute of Technology is not a great college with most of its facilities below average or poor. With very few students coming from outside and most being the local ones joining out of less choice, the college makes up for a 3rd tier college. It should certainly rank in the bottom of the list while planning further engineering study.
