Students of the pharmacy college are extremely satisfied with the level of teaching delivered by their great professors. You often hear them saying, “One of the best in Pune University”. Undoubtedly, with most of them having PhD degrees from good universities and years of experience makes the teaching at this college splendid. The professors are extremely co-operative and easily approachable. No doubt, they have produced some gold medallist students in the past. Communication skills are sometimes a problem but it can be surely overlooked considering students understand what is being taught.

The infrastructure at Rajarshi Shahu is something above average and far better as compared to other Pune Pharmacy Colleges. Though the classrooms are non AC, they have pretty comfortable benches and are pretty spacious. Labs, one of the most important things for a Pharmacy student, are extremely clean and well maintained with instruments available at any hours of the day. Instrumentation labs are air conditioned. There is wifi connectivity in the building but sadly students don’t get to use it.

Since the college is has got a very good name and reputation in Pune for it’s pharmacy course, the placements are way above average. Cipla, Sun Pharma, MQL are the standard recruiters who offer a pay package of roughly around 2.5 lakhs. The placements are far better as compared to other pharmacy colleges.

Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research is located in a quite remote area of Thathawde. As the college is situated in a pretty aloof locality, accessibility is a big problem. Hence, most of the students are forced to come on their respective two wheelers. PMT bus frequency is something that would not please you and to add to that they drop you on the main road.

Generally, the association allows around 60% and most of the times you get exempted if your rapport with the respective teacher is quite up to the mark. For extreme cases of attendance, students are not allowed to give the exams but this is quite rare.
