All the teachers at St Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC), Bangalore are very well learned and highly experienced. Majority of them are awarded doctorates and rest are also pursuing their PhDs. They are not only good in their subjects but also possess extremely good communication skills and a good command over the English language.

The infrastructure is quite good but the campus is smaller compared to other campus of St Joseph’s. Classrooms are well-furnished and comfortable. Library is quite roomy and has lots of books for all the subjects too. There is Wi-Fi internet in the college and it can be accessed from anywhere within the campus.

There are no college hostels but nuns and the father can refer students to stay at hostels maintained by Jesuits Education Society. Rooms are available on triple sharing basis but they’re very nice and well-maintained. There’s Wi-Fi internet in the hostels too.

With different preparations of chicken available every day, canteen is truly a non-vegetarian’s paradise. “Chicken 65” which is available only once a week is the most favourite dish among students. The canteen is very spacious and all food items are quite affordable.

One of the best crowds in the city. Well-diversified and happening. Majority of the students (about 70% of them) are localites, the rest are northees and NRIs.

Lots of festivals and events are organized at St Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC); in fact they happen almost continuous throughout the year. “Dhwani” is the largest of all intercollege cultural festivals while “Speed” is annual intercollege sports meet. “Virtuoso” & “Chanakya” are intra-college fests arranged by BBM & BCom departments respectively.
