Again the Civil department of Vishwa Bharathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (VBITS) struggles to meet students' expectations. There's shortage of permanent faculty and professors from other colleges are allotted a couple of subjects every semester. Other departments are way better and students are satisfied.

As you enter the campus there's nothing to admire except a raw playground dispersed with little shrubs and an unfinished academic block. However, students say that classrooms have comfortable seating arrangements and the ECE, EEE and CSE labs are pretty good too. Civil department is an exception and faces numerous issues with apparatus and equipments. Internet is missing.

Unfortunately, there's not much to look up to in close proximity. Santosh Nagar is the best bet for a quick snack or a nice movie. Some ambitious students completely devastated after taking admission at VBITS, secretly visit MVSR Engineering College and blankly stare at students there.

VBITS's doesn't quite strike a chord with urban crowd. Students from other parts of the state are also not too keen on joining this college. And thus, what you’re left with is mostly rural crowd from villages in and around Hyderabad.

Vishwa Bharathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (VBITS) is particular about attendance and usually follows the University prescribed rules of 75% attendance. Fines (Rs. 300) are levied on defaulters. Moreover, gates remain closed during the college timing and students cannot enter or leave the campus without genuine reasons.
