EVENTS DURING THE FEST:

1. Star Night: The pioneers of fusion rock genre in India-the rock band INDIAN OCEAN will be there to mesmerize the audience on 9th December 2012. Be there to witness the musical sensations!!!

2. Rock Night: ASHQ, one of the few leading Hindi/Alternative rock bands in Gujarat will be there to rock the campus on 8th December 2012. Be ready to get mesmerized by their wonderful compositions.

3. Big Fight: Description: Big fight is an on the spot debate and open ended discussion competition which gives a platform to share and discuss views on the current issues in the Indian and global scenario.

4. Demiurge: Buckle yourself up for exploring your creative side! This literary event gives you a platform to express yourself and share it with the world. Let your Creativity speak!

5. Excalibur: It is no exaggeration to say that data and its analysis are very vital for managing an organization. To enable an organisation to achieve the set goals maximally, there is a great need for the manager to analyse and interpret available data correctly. Here’s announcing a series of data exploration challenges and inviting students, passionate about analysing the data and its interpretation!!

6: Gravity: FDI in retail is one of the most talked about issues in the last 1 year. Now the reform of allowing 51% FDI in Multi Brand retail will attract big retail chains like Wal-Mart in India especially in big cities. The entry of foreign players means huge capital investments in Indian market. This will intensify competition between Kirana Stores and Retail Chains. Consider a scenario where local kirana stores from a particular area have formed an association to give a stronger competition to Wal-Mart, which is all set to open its first store in India within a month’s time.

7. Nicanor: Creativity comes in different forms and helps to form a coherent overall view. Creativity is founded on diversity and difference and within different modes of artistic expression. Thus, one can postulate a continuum extending from "interpretation" to "innovation”. So come and predict using your creativity profile to express the new and the different.

8. Prayaas: With the vision of enabling the endangered in our society, this social plan speaks of ideas that can direct the exposed towards better livelihoods. The key is to build strong communities that engage citizens and inspire change, and hence, in partnership with Rotaract Club of IMNU the focus will be on supporting the implementation of the winning plan.

9. Shashtrarth: Shastrarth is means clearing your doubts by discussing topics with knowledgeable persons (includes looking at the facts) and reasoning out the answer. It’s time to showcase the agility and sharpness of your grey cells. The trumpet has been sounded at the battle field of “Shashtrarth - Let's rememorize & discuss the memorable points”. Are you ready for the challenge??

10. Srijan: Srijan gives you a chance to prove your mettle and contribute back to the society in your own way. Design your own business plan that responds to and fulfils the needs of those at the Bottom of the Pyramid. It is a unique opportunity for the best brains of the country to hone their entrepreneurship skills and do something worthwhile for the society
