FMS is one of the few tests that you can do extremely well in if you have a good command over your English. There is a section purely on vocabulary, and another on antonyms.
Although most of the questions are pretty straightforward, there are really too many, so time becomes a major constraint.
Tips:
Speed is the key. Since time is such a huge constraint, you need to pretty much rush through the sections in order to do well. You definitely can’t afford to spend too much time on any particular question, although you CAN afford to devote time to your stronger sections, since FMS doesn’t have a sectional cutoff. That’s why you often find people scoring full marks in two sections, absolutely nothing in the others, and still somehow getting through. In short, work on speed.
