Preparation:

I was already in a media course for my Graduation, which helped. However, I had two sets of University board exams in the same year as my entrance exam to MICA, which meant that I constantly had to switch and juggle between college, exam prep and admissions prep. However, because I was so keen and passionate about MICA, the time management was almost natural.
As for preparation I brushed up basic Maths and did some problems on logic. I used Barron's vocabulary list for English. Regularly read the newspapers, especially the business and media sections ( as the MICAT has a General awareness section). That said you cannot really prepare for the MICAT in totality, because it tests your thinking on your feet and lateral abilities. Also I was very focused on MICA only as I wanted to do Communications Management only.

Advice to juniors:

It's as important to leverage your strengths as it is to overcome weaknesses. Many people forget to build on their strengths in a bid to improve their weak points.
Be sure whether you really want to be at MICA. Is communications management really your calling? Read and research.

Experience in MBA Institute:

The faculty at MICA is exceptional. We have a good mix of visiting and in-house faculty, all very well established, well known and regarded in their fields. We have a mix of professors from academic and research backgrounds, as well as industry people. MICAns excel at academic and non-academic pursuits. The amount of talent and creativity is spectacular! There is always something happening on campus, and yes, we barely sleep!
The redbrick world of MICA is any B-school student's dream come true. The infrastructure is state-of-the-art, the hostels are clean and comfortable. The mess food is great too! We wake up to peacocks dancing outside our windows, and nights are spent under the starry sky.
