Interview Experience:

There was no written aptitude test but there were three rounds of interviews. Weird questions were fired at me to check my presence of mind. For e.g. what would you do if I gave you 5 crores? Is honesty important in civil field? Etc.

Job Description:

I was working as a Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) with the company where I was imparted training on sites and was rotated through all the departments of the company. For a first placement it was a good experience both learning and comfort wise. Being a fresher I was not expected to do the tasks hands on but yes an interest was needed to be shown. I asked as many questions as I could to get thorough knowledge. By the end of the training I was asked to sign a bond which was the reason for my quitting the job.

Experience at Work:

The working experience was great. The company has been rated as one of the best places to work by the business times. Needless to say rest. The only concern is with the fellow get mates who always want to have an edge above others.

Advice to the juniors:

A few tips for interviews as I have cracked many:
Be confident and bold. Stay in a happy mood before the interview. Drink lots of fluids before. Read something motivational before the interview. Always keep in mind this is not the last company and life doesn't end here and even if you get the job you won't be doing something very great. Be sharp at communication skills. Stress on your strengths and don't be shy to tell your weaknesses. But you should have proper backups to form base for what you have said. Interview is 50% knowledge test and rest to test how you tackle situations or handle stress and how well you stick to what you say. 95% of what you say must be true. Don't let the interviewer take you where he wants, instead take him where you are strong at.
