All the faculties at BK are experienced and their teaching is fantastic. There are only a few visiting faculties but they are from MICA and IIM-A. All faculties are friendly and student-teacher rapport is amazing. You can stay in touch with them via Email and Phone calls and SMS. Faculty are the best part about BK School of Business Management.

Gujarat University has a sprawling campus, in which there is this one building allotted for BK School of Business Management near the main entrance of Gujarat University and even though campus is really huge, most of student activities during the entire course will be confined to this building only. There are just 4 classrooms in this 2 storey building, a smallish seminar room and a not too big library are the facilities provided. Books in library are old and outdated and being government college new ones take time to arrive; also they’re few in number. So everyone has to purchase their own books. There is no WiFi or wired internet. Overall the infra is just sufficient for students’ needs but not as good as it should be for one of the best b-schools of the state.

Placements are very good when compared to overall placement scenario of MBA colleges in Ahmedabad. More than 90% students manage to secure on-campus jobs and others too don’t need to strive very hard in off-campus interviews. Banking, power and pharmaceuticals sectors companies are major recruiters. Torrent power alone took many students in various departments like electrical, pharmaceuticals, cables etc. Other companies include TCS, Adani, ICICI Bank, IDBI etc. Majority of the students prefer jobs in and around Ahmedabad and thus many local companies are also seen during campus placements. Average package was 5 lakh while the highest offer was 8 lakh per annum.
Summer placements too are great. All the students get internships on-campus and thus no one has to go searching on their own. About 60 companies come looking for summer interns at BK School of Business Management. About 50% are paid internships but all of them are good learning experience.

Also BRTS bus stops of University and Andhjan Mandal are just about 1.5 km away, making connectivity even better and commuting quicker. Many students can also be seen travelling by their own two wheelers.

B. K School of Business Management is very well reputed all over the Gujarat. Great faculty and amazing ROI (returns on investment) are its salient features. Students studying here are pretty much satisfied with their choice of college and they rate their college a whopping 8/10.

As BK’s seats always get filled really quickly, if not first, among all MBA colleges in Gujarat, the cream of the crowd can be seen here. Boy –girl ratio is usually 65-35, which is not bad. Being in heart of the city there are lots of places around to chill and relieve your stress. But University canteen is certainly not among them and BK students are never seen there. Many festivals and events take place throughout the year - “Renaissance” the college fest is the biggest of all, then there are freshers’ and many such small events. There’s also this ‘placement function’ in which some of the past and potential recruiters come joined by many alumni too; it is a good networking opportunity for students to build contacts.

“Campus life is just like school. There are no activities organized by college apart from attending lectures”, complains a student. To top it up there are hell lot of assignments to complete in less time. So if you miss one class it becomes terribly difficult to cope up afterwards. Also 75% attendance is compulsory and actions taken against defaulters can be severe. And if you keep aside the fear of actions, pressure of piling up assignments should be enough to make you attend lectures.

There are no industrial visits arranged by the college as such; students themselves can arrange it if they wish. Also very few seminars are held – only a couple of them per year. So exposure to industry is very limited.
