Most of the faculty is young with less experience, many of them being recent post graduates or pursuing post graduation. Students from a few branches even complain of not having regular faculty. No faculty is noteworthy as such, most of them being average in terms of teaching. Almost all students go for coaching classes. The young faculty is not very strict and is friendly at most times.

The 100 acre campus that Globus Engineering College shares with the other colleges looks like the ruins of a great campus with the many inhabited facilities and not so good maintenance. There are multiple buildings belonging to the different colleges with gardens around them. The campus has a volleyball court which is decent. The laboratories which were one of the best ones in Bhopal once have now deteriorated significantly. Workshop facilities too, are not very good with most machines and instruments becoming old and obsolete. The classrooms are normal- decent and manageable but nothing extra ordinary. There is a huge and spacious library which is used mostly by the hostellers. Also, WiFi facility is not available for the students.

Placements in Globus Engineering College are below average. A few students get placed with a package of 1.5 Lakh – 2 lakh per Annum which the college exaggerates to 4 times the figures in its advertorials. Civil and Mechanical branches have negligible placements which forces the students to study further or take up small time jobs. The good students usually get placed. Both local and major companies come for the much hyped placements but very few- only the better students qualify and get placed. Bhopal Institute of Technology, Bhopal Institute of Technology & Science and Globus Engineering College sit for common placements.

The college provides for bus services in Bhopal which students generally use because the college is cut off from the better parts of the city. Hostel facility for both boys and girls in the campus although available, is not great and also cut off from the city which makes students’ prefer staying by themselves in the city as paying guests.

The canteen too is not very good. It is spacious but does not serve anything great. The regular things like chips, cold drinks and things like samosa are the only things that are served.

The nearest mall is 12 KM away (C21 Mall) and as the college is far from the city, there are no apparent hangouts for the students after college gets over.

Crowd in Globus Engineering College is not very enthusiastic because of the huge campus, distance from the city and lesser number of students. Most of the students are from Bihar and the girl to boy ratio is also not very appealing. There are 12 boys to every girl in the campus. A dress code is followed in the campus.

Globus Engineering College is not strict about attendance at all. Students are pardoned with fines and sometimes not even that is charged. If the attendance is too low, in rare circumstances, marks are deducted from sessional exams.

Globus Engineering College and the other colleges in the Bhojpur campus were once considered as really good colleges in Bhopal. Due to other new colleges coming up in the vicinity the popularity of them has diminished reducing it to just another college in the tier 2 college. Bhopal Institute of Technology will only feature post the top 30 college of Bhopal, though the students say that with a change in the management things might change.
