Though much can’t be commented on the faculty as Ideal Institute of Management and Technology (IIMT) is quite new in the education market, the faculty for Maths is pretty nice. Students understand what the teachers teach. The teaching staff is nascent and needs a lot of improvement. Lack of experienced professors is a major problem.

The extremely small campus of IIMT, Karkardooma lacks a green garden and thus looses out on the main element of a campus. The college building is pretty new but has average non air conditioned classrooms. The three storey building has a library which sometimes or most of the times has old edition books, that too, not in decent quantity. The college lacks internet facility and thus overall infrastructure has no peculiar speciality.

Ideal Institute of Management and Technology (IIMT) is located in far Northeast Delhi in quite a remote area. The college is pretty far from the nearest metro station which is Karkardooma on the blue line. One has to take a DTC bus or a metro feeder to the college as it’s situated far inside from the main road. Accessibility to the college can be an issue considering one has to use a lot of modes of travelling.

The canteen is very bad though Paneer Roll is the hot favourite item. The canteen lacks in quality and quantity. Moreover, the prices are high for just about edible bad. Overall, students don’t seem to love to their canteen.

Hangout is a severe problem as IIMT, Karkardooma is located in quite a remote area. Thus students have to travel all the way to Connaught Place or some local malls in Northeast of Delhi.

Students from Greater Noida and Ghaziabad are primarily seen in the college though Delhi-ites are no way behind. Boys are certainly more than girls and the overall crowd is quite friendly. One of the students said, “Most of them are seedha saadha (simple) types but a few indulge in rowdiness”

Even though students are told to maintain an attendance of around 75%, they say that anything upto 50% is tolerated. Students thus take maximum advantage of the same.
