Faculty here is also not serious about academics. Most of the professors don't complete the portion of their respective subjects, so at the term end they give out the important questions. The faculty is not very disciplined and give a lot of stuff for self study. This is not the case with all but many of them. Don't think that if you get through this college, studies will be a cake walk.

The college has a very big campus. Students say that the college has the biggest library in DU which is a hard fact to digest seeing the students. The college is well known for sports and has a good sports infra. The sports complex here is something which the college is proud of. Claustrophobia is something which you will surely not experience here.

The college is well poised for travelling from any part of the city. The college is very close to the ring road and you get many buses on this route. The nearest metro is Rajouri Garden which is 10 mins walk from the college. The college has many new malls mushrooming in the vicinity and still a lot of barren land of which some is under the college.

Canteen is not good here. When you have so many food joints in the neighbourhood you are definitely not going to like the canteen food. The food is cheap but not good. It is only necessity and laziness of students who use the canteen, else they go to the malls.

There are new malls which are there very close to the college. The nearby areas have many hookah joints and pool parlours where students love to pay through their nose. There are movie theatres also in the malls, entertainment is totally taken care of.

Studious students are very few. Most of the students bunk and chill in the nearby areas. The encouragement to bunk has been given by the near by malls and many more other hangout joints coming up. There many small fights happening just outside the premises. During college elections fights can be commonplace. The college has a famous goon who is to be feared by neighbouring colleges too.

Attendance not very strict. The attendance sheets are floated in the class and you can imagine what will happen, yes most of the students physically not present would end up being present on the paper. This is very good for students who don't intend to attend the lectures. So make friends who attend lectures who can give a proxy attendance for you and you're set for the sem.
