Faculty in Jai Narayan college of Technology & Science is not very great. According to students, apart from the HODs, all other teachers either lack experience or are not able to connect well with the students. Many of the students, as a reason join coaching classes in Bhopal. Although the faculty isn’t great, students usually ignore this fact considering the fact that Jai Narayan college of Technology is a sister college of LNCT which makes it likely to have good placements.

The campus is a big one, 26 acres to be precise. Jai Narayan college of Technology & Science shares the campus with Jai Narayan college of Technology. There are two main buildings and a big ground in the campus- where most of events are organized and students play. Laboratories are not air conditioned and also not great either. Classrooms too are simple and nothing spectacular about them is observed. Even the library is an average one with a few relevant books available but apart from the books needed in the coursework, books are not available.

Also, Jai Narayan college of Technology undergoes placements only after the LNCT undergo a first round of placement procedure. Jai Narayan college of Technology is also part of the common placements. Highest packages from Jai Narayan college of Technology go up to 4 LPA. Top companies are TCS, Amdocs, Ericsson, Ashok Leyland, ETA engineering etc. Along with the big companies, small time companies also pick up a few students through on campus assistance.

Both the boys and girls hostels are located in the city and are the common hostels of the LNCT group. A few hostel rooms have internet facility while the college campus is not WiFi enabled.

Students do not like the college canteen in Jai Narayan college of Technology & Science. Previously it was really filthy and untidy but now the authorities have improved there. Yet, there is no variety available and overall the canteen is below average in the campus.

The crowd is a mix with a lot of students from UP, Bihar. The quality of crowd is not the best in Bhopal. A dress code is followed for both girls and boys. The campus being secluded and hostels back in the city, there is not much happening in the college- the crowd is pretty boring. Surely not the ideal crowd that one would want to have but again, students usually ignore this fact considering the fact that Jai Narayan college of Technology & Science is a sister college of LNCT which makes it likely to have good placements.

60% and above is a healthy attendance. Students who are very poor in terms of attendance are troubled for their practical examination marks. They are also fined and made to repeat assignments. Overall, Jai Narayan college of Technology & Science is moderately strict about attendance.
