The faculty at this college is said to be good. Although most of the teachers have only 3 to 4 years of experience, they teach well. They’re very co-operative and always encourage students to participate in not only curricular but also in co-curricular activities. Some even take students as their assistants in research work.

The infrastructure of Jaywantrao Sawant College of Pharmacy and Research is very okay and students are not really satisfied with it. The library is very spacious and has abundance of books. Apart from library nothing is worth a mention. Wifi connectivity is available but only on the third floor of the college and there are a few internet labs as well at your disposal. Labs are well equipped and classrooms too are decent, nothing great about them.

Jaywantrao Sawant College of Pharmacy and Research is located in Hadapsar area. The PMT buses drop you on the main road and one has to walk about 1.5 kms to reach the gate of the college. Also, the frequency of the buses is really bad. College has its own bus facility but most students prefer their own two wheeler.

The reason being college is really strict about discipline and doesn’t allow any kind of misbehaviour and mischiefs, not even innocent ones. About half of the crowd is from the city of Pune while remaining comes from various parts of Maharashtra. The girls and boys are almost equal in number.

Attendance has become very strict recently. University norm is 75% but the college makes sure that you attend at least 80% of the theory lectures and 95% of the practical lectures. If you fall short of this you won’t be allowed to sit for the sessional exams and your final marks will be affected.
