The students have absolutely no issues with the faculty and are all praise for them. The senior faculty here include pass-outs from IIMs and FMS with 15 to 20 years of teaching-cum-industry experience. Guest lectures are held almost twice a week wherein visiting faculty like Senior Project Manager at IBM and the HR head at NTPC are invited to speak, basically corporate executives are invited.

Although the campus of the college is small, the building which hosts the academic blocks is beautifully furnished and boasts of air-conditioned classrooms equipped with projectors. A two storey modernistic structure is home to one of the finest libraries you can come across. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and students are seen utilising the resources at the highest level.

The placements, in turn, are tremendous – 100% placements with average salaries ranging between Rs. 6.5 to 7.5L a year for the previous three years, the highest being above Rs. 12L. So, the Return on Investment (ROI as it’s popularly known as) is healthy. Major recruiters include E&Y, KPMG, Asian Paints and DE Shaw. Positive growth has been observed in the placements of this college for the past few years and future prospects seem quite promising.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) is located at a conveniently walkable distance of 12 minutes from Dwarka Sector 11 Metro station on the Blue line. A few buses also ply close by but most of the students prefer the Metro.

The only complain is of a non-residential campus since the current hostel is about a kilometre away. However, the management is trying its best to avail the same for the students and it is hoped that this will be achieved in the near future.

The canteen is what the students say needs a makeover – it’s small and serves few varieties of food.

Nearly two thirds of the students at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) come from the Engineering field and the rest from diverse other backgrounds. About half the student strength has had two to three year experience and the rest are freshers. Although students every category can be found here, they get along quite well. So even though the curriculum is a little rigorous and turns stressful sometimes good company doesn’t let you feel so.

For those interested in sports the college also has a mutual agreement with the DDA Sports Complex and the students are allowed to use those facilities.
A three day cultural festival known as 'Tatva' is celebrated in the college during the month of February. Besides that, induction programs, cultural week, corporate interface days, quizzes, debates and street plays are common here.

The biggest plus point of the college is its great ROI. Flawless infrastructure and knowledgeable senior professors make it one of the top choices for students who missed out on the IIMs and other B-Schools of that league. A completely residential course and a bigger campus are the need of the hour for this Institute to touch the pinnacle of glory – which is where it seems it’s headed.
SPECIAL NOTE: Admission into the college is by CAT scores and a GD/PI session. The course offered here is PGDM but the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognized it as equivalent to MBA Degree by an Indian University.
