Some of the main recruiters are Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd., Vertex Software Pvt. Ltd., Zcon etc. From B.SC and M.SC Microbiology major recruiters are Evolvus Systems Pvt. Ltd, Ventri Biologicals Ltd, Genesis Labs. For M.SC (organic chemistry) some of the students were placed in Lupin pharamceuticals, Deepak Nitrite, Jubilian. From M.SC biotechnology a few students were placed in Wochardt and National Chemical Labs (NCL).

There are 3 buildings in the Modern college campus, one for science, one for Law and one for commerce and arts combined. The classrooms are decent with comfortable benches. However, there is no AC in the classrooms. The washrooms are dirty. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled and students are allowed to use it freely. All the labs are well equipped and well maintained. BCA and MCA labs have PCs with the latest hardware and software, and they’re upgraded every year.

PES’s Modern college is located in Ganeshkhind area, right across the main gate of Pune university campus. It is well connected with all parts of city by PMT buses. Buses have good frequency and they drop you right outside the gate of the college
